Directors

- Director -

Brian Selman

I have around 40 years experience working in a variety of businesses around the world (UK, New Zealand, Australia, Sweden). I started out in sales and then moved into General Management. I have run businesses ranging from 1 person to over 200. My role in Savanna is all about strategy development, business planning and management. I've been with Savanna from the very beginning and have loved watching it grow!

Fun fact: I have written and published two novels.

- Managing Director -

Will Smith

As a child, my family had their own transport business, and I followed in their footsteps by working predominantly within the logistics sector as an adult.  This experience led me to identify the inability of recruitment agencies to effectively match temporary drivers with the correct clients. This realisation, with support from Brian and Emma, resulted in the inception of Savanna. I've taken great pleasure in seeing the business grow over the years. We're lucky to have a fantastic team here at Savanna that we strengthen as we maintain consistent growth year on year.

Fun fact: When I was younger I wanted to be a DJ in Ibiza!

Operations Team

- Operations Manager -

Dora Kassi

I have over 6 years of experience within the recruitment industry. I joined Savanna in June 2018, having previously worked as an auditor. I have an intensive background in compliance and safeguarding procedures, working alongside the Home Office and local councils. My favourite thing about working for Savanna is that I get to meet and work with some amazing people.

Fun fact: I can binge watch an entire series on Netflix!

- Operations Supervisor -

Kelly Cane

I joined Savanna in 2016 as an apprentice and within 3 years I have been promoted 4 times! Savanna has helped me grow and learn within the company and within my current role I supervise payroll and the whole operation. I enjoy talking to the drivers and clients on a daily basis, dealing with various personalities and placing drivers to work is really rewarding.

Fun fact: I dye my hair every couple of months. My colour choices have included: pink, red, blue, green, purple, brunette and blond.

- Resource Manager -

Wesley Lawrence

I have over 6 years Transport Management Experience with the International Manager CPC Qualification. I also have 18 years Class 2 HGV multi-drop driving experience, as well as 8 years Class 1 multi-drop driving experience. I joined Savanna in February 2018 and am excited to bring my vast knowledge of the transport sector to the business.

Fun fact: I grow a beard for the duration of the British winter time and only shave it off when the clocks go forward in Spring.
